Adults is one thing. It breaks my heart to see the exhausted & stressed kids unable to cross the threshold into school towards the end of term. They get labelled "school refusers" with late marks against their names, when really they are just trying to survive.

I am constantly struck how little we as a society seem to care about self-care, maintenance of energy levels and (particularly) sleep. When we are run down, we don't make good decisions.
